More of the products you're looking for: Late summer and early fall are always a great time to get out on the water. For dealers, it’s also the time of year when we finally get our hands on the latest products being rolled out. We spend those last weeks of fall evaluating and field testing the new offerings before agreeing to stock them in our shop. We are constantly adjusting the range and breadth of the products we carry so that you have the absolute best selection across competitive lines.

We put together this 2013 Product Guide to give you an overview of some of the new merchandise we are or will be stocking in the shop. There are some great new products, as well as enhancements to existing products, from Sage, Simms, Fishpond and others. Whether you are making long casts directly into the wind, throwing big bulky flies or wielding an aggressive sink-tip line in steelhead waters, the “super fast” III-SX will come through.

Sage Circa

The new Circa rods are designed for fishermen that like a softer touch with a slower stroke. Sage calls it "Advanced Slow Action". Circa rods use “Konnetic technology” which accommodates more carbon fiber into a smaller diameter, resulting in a narrow taper through the length of the rod.

G Loomis NRX LP

Designed for long, delicate casts using extremely light leaders, the NRX LP (Light Presentation) line is the king of finesse. They are incredibly smooth casting and have soft tapers for managing long, whisper-thin leaders and small to medium-sized dry flies.

TFO Finesse Half-Weight

At a featherweight 1.2 ounces and 22-inch pack length, this little 5 foot rod is sure to attract interest by small stream specialists and high country explorers. Made with cold-rolled aluminum for increased strength, a stainless steel sealed cartridge outgoing click mechanism, and a pure cork drag, the 9/10N is specifically designed for fighting large saltwater game fish - roosterfish, albacore, false albacore, striped bass, dorado, and the like.

Hardy CLS

Hardy's new CLS Ultra light reels use a practical and reliable cassette system, which easily locks/unlocks into place. Features include a centralized twin Rulon disc drag, large arbor design, simple conversion from left to right hand wind, and three spools and sufficient ID pins for up to three lines. Two models, the 5000 CLS (5-7 weight lines) and the 7000 CLS (7-9 weight lines) are available.

Fly Lines

Rio InTouch Deep

The new InTouch series of freshwater lines feature two unique technologies. First, a non-stretch "Connect-Core" that produces a fly line with virtually no stretch. Second, a "hang marker" showing the angler when the sinking line is coming to the end of the retrieve. This eliminates the frustration of stripping a line in too close, making it hard to re-cast.
